Dear Brid, Our hearts are broken--we have lost a dear friend who greatly enriched our lives with his joy and kindness. Billy always had a warm smile and a kind word for everyone. He was our dear friend. We will always remember your trips to Milwaukee and our trips to Dublin, and the wonderful times we had together. Billy was highly intelligent, responsible, and steady, a man of great integrity. But most of all, he was a wonderful friend. Brid, he loved you and Jodie and William and Marianne very much. I was saddened to learn of Billy's passing. Got to know him well in the early days of UCC, most likely as both of our surnames began with H. Also met himself and Brid outside The Devon Inn Templeglantine after a class reunion in Killarney in 2016 when we exchanged pleasantries. Our sympathy to you Brid and family.
