I had only met and had a little chat with himself & Clodagh in
Early June & he looked so well & in great form. So glad I took that photo too 🩷
He had three amazing daughters to care for him & fabulous grandchildren too

And whenever anyone asked where i lived
I’d say ballinasloe & their reply would be “the famous Hayden’s Hotel “
It’s not easy when two parents have now passed & as a family you will need time to grief & take care of yourselves

We had direct contact with him and Clodagh in organising the Camogie Congress at Haydens and his wonderful involvement and interest in everything that happened. His contribution to helping and promoting his beloved Ballinasloe was always appreciated as he ran the best hotel of its time in the West of Ireland. May he now be rewarded in the peace of heaven.
