To the Twomney family may I offer my sympathy to you all on Billy's passing.
I just found out today 10/08/23.I knew Billy from No 5 O Connell Crescent,Turners Cross.
Many the chat we had bout Liverpool and we played golf a bit in Waterrock.
Again my sympathy.

We were both involved with Western Gaels ( Iveleary and Kilmichael)
I as Chairman and Billy as Secretary. Billy was fantastic and a pleasure to work with. We won many West League and Championships in Hurling and Football ,and a Minor Football County in those years. Pestered him with multiple daily phone calls, but he was always patient and pleasant. The massive attendance at his Funeral said it all really. He will be missed on both banks of his beloved Lee.

Your warm, witty & serene presence next door, throughout our community & beyond, will be sadly & sorely missed. The best we can do to honour your presence here, is to imitate your ways.

Billy took a keen interest in our Sciath na Scol team and always attended the finals to support the girls. He has left a lasting legacy to them all.
