Billy (William) Roche

We have only learned of the passing of Billy and we offer our heartfelt sympathy to Margaret & family and extended family. Having worked for Billy it was a very happy time in my life, fondest and happy memories of my time spent with the family at the Wooden House. We will keep you all in our hearts and prayers at this very sad time.

Margaret and family,
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Billy. I may have met him once, but I felt I knew him so well from his dear late colleague and friend Andrew O’Gorman with whom I worked for many years. He always spoke so glowingly about Billy and all the licensed trade projects, events and competitions in which they were both involved in Ireland and all over the world.
I felt the news of Billy’s passing the same as if I had lost a close friend.
I hope all your memories of him, all the beautiful tributes on this website and the support of your own community will give you consolation as you grieve his loss.
May Billy Rest in Peace.

It is with great sadness that I heard of Billy passing away, he was such a great guy, huge influence on the hospitality and bar industry here in Ireland, he represented Ireland at World competitions and shared his expertise with many. Kilmore Quay, Wexford were the real benefactors of Billy’s work through his pub for many years. RIP William (Billy) Roche.
