Heartfelt sympathy to you dear Anne, Pat, Catherine and all the family on the death of Senan, your beloved brother, uncle and granduncle, God rest his soul. He joins the O'Donnell family in the kingdom of heaven. I had the privilege of having his sister Bella (Sr Louis) as my superior and she and we affectionally called Senan 'the Bish.' Sister Louis joined the family in Maiduguri, Nigeria for his consecration as Bishop and we enjoyed the stories she told us of that wonderful time. Many times we loved to welcome Noel to Windsor (Fr Columba). Brigidines were blessed to have two great O'Donnell women with us - Brigid (Sr Camillus) and Bella. May they all be united in God's presence. As Senan's devoted sister, Anne, you will miss him. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
Our most sincere sympathy to the family and confreres of Bishop Senan Louis O'Donnell OSA. John's Lane Church has been a special place of quiet and comfort over the years to so many people who wander the streets of Dublin alone and lost. Many of those people known to us are so grateful and so are we.

Please accept my sympathy at the death of Bishop Louis. I worked with him in Nigeria. He gave his all for God's Kingdom. May he now enjoy the Heavenly Kingdom. May God bless you all.

Deepest sympathy to the O’Donnell on the passing of Bishop Senan. His passing coincided with the creation of the new diocese of Wukari Nigeria being a carve up of the diocese of Jalingo which previously was part of Maiduguri. A fitting testament to his and all his colleagues work out there for the past 80 years.
