Blaithin was my art teacher in Sion Hill Junior School before she had her television career. She left a lasting impression as a teacher due to her patience with young children. Her love of drawing and painting, as well as the desire to share with us, was so evident back then. A life well lived and I am so happy to have had it touch my own life. May she rest in peace.
Very sorry to hear of your loss, she was a wonderful woman and I have many fond memories in hawthorn lawn with Oisin and the O'Ciobhain's. May she rest in peace.
