Bob Murray

It was with great sadness we heard of Bob's passing. Our heartfelt condolences to Maureen and the family.

In 2013 I was glad to answer Bob's call when he put together his team to defend the rights of the Casement Social Club. I knew of Bob before that, as a great Irish Patriot and I am pleased to say that along with Kevin, Maria and Chris, officers of the Casement Social Club, we fought hard and fair with the GAA and delivered on Bob's objective that we have a legal agreement guaranteeing either a Casement Park County Ground or a Stadium. When the history of Casement Social Club, and indeed any updated history of Belfast & Ireland's Republicans is written, the name of Bob Murray will prominently feature.
