Very saddened to hear the news about Bobby. He was a very popular figure in Castleknock College, and unsurprisingly so. Bobby had the rare gift of bringing a smile to the face of most people he came into contact with. Sincere condolences to Margaret and family on the passing of Bobby. Also to Laura, Con and Marty and his beloved mother. I have lovely memories of Bobby in our time together in Knock. He was such fun and a rogue. After we finished school in the 80’s I often met him at the Rose of Tralee festival. He upped camp occasionally to stay over in a holiday home my family had in Castlegregory with great views of the sea and Tralee Bay. After a good breakfast he would be at peace viewing out over the sea and thought it was heaven. I would ring him occasionally out of fishing season if I was stuck in traffic to have a laugh, as he never changed’ but regrettably hadn’t been in touch of late. All his classmates will miss him dearly
