I was deeply saddened to hear the news from Keith this morning. I honestly felt Bobby would go on forever.

I visited him a few weeks ago and, despite his failing health, he still had that spark, that energy and good humour that never left him.

Bobby was one of those remarkable few whose gift was consistency, steadfastness, and good cheer, no matter the circumstances.

If anyone has earned a rest, it is surely Bobby.
