with a pleasant personality. I worked with her in St. Michael's College
for nineteen years, during which time I was never short of a humourous
joke, a funny story, or the words of a song or poem which she downloaded from her computer and passed them on to me, also some very friendly
discussions on the Hurling attributes of Cork and Kilkenny. I was sad and shocked to learn that she had passed to her eternal reward. Again my sincere sympathy to her relatives and to Mary. I trust that Almighty
God will give you the strength and courage to bear your loss in this sad time for you all. To Bonnie, many thanks for the very pleasant memories.

For almost 50 years, Bonnie gave dedicated service to St. Michael’s College Junior School. Until her final weeks, she continued with Mary, to help with the supervision rota, retaining a keen interest in all aspects of school life. Her death breaks a link between the Shortall family and St. Michael's which goes back to the earliest years of the school.
Bonnie will be sorely missed by all of us in the St. Michael’s community, who will cherish memories of her quick wit, hilarious stories, unwavering support, loyal friendship and absolute devotion to the boys.
Bonnie, you will never be forgotten; your work is done, may you now receive the reward of a life so well lived.
