Br. Leo was my Socias way back in 1982. He took 200 cigs from me on the day that iI entered the CB's. A wonderful human being who had our best interests at heart. If there was conflict in Baldoyle between novices he would announce "grand view of Howth", dissipating all tensions.
Leo, you were wonderful human being.

Leo Judge was my socias back in 1982. A true gentleman who guided young novices as best he could. If there was tension in Baldoyle between novices, he would make the statement, "Grand view of Howth" dissipating all hostilities at once. A wonderful human being who did his best to mind us. May he rest in peace.

To Br. Leo’s family and the community of the Christian Brothers, I wish on behalf of the Parishioners and Priests of Kells to convey our sympathies and prayers as you mourn for Br. Leo. He generously served the town and wider community, while also sharing in the huge work concerned with the amalgamation of the CBS & VEC schools and building of the new Community School. I was fortunate in 1987 as one of the last First Year Classes to have Br. Leo as our school principal. He was always kind and encouraging to me personally, especially so when years later I entered seminary and was ordained for the Diocese of Meath. May God have mercy upon Br. Leo’s soul and grant him eternal peace and rest in Heaven.
My sympathy and prayers are with the judge family and the christian Brothers on the passing of Bro Leo a true and kind Gentleman who lived the christian faith carrying out many acts of kindness to his students and the wider community he will be greatly missed by family and many friends Rest in peace Bro Leo
