Br. Lucian (Patrick) Phelan F.S.P

Sincerest sympathies from me and my children on the passing of Brother Lucian, whom we knew as Paddy Joe. He was a lifelong friend to my husband Frank and a good friend to me from his time in India. A very kind and generous man, he will be missed.

So sorry to learn of the death of Bro. Lucian.

My sincere sympathies to his family, his fellow Patricians and his many friends. Lucian was your ultimate people person. Always interested in good conversation, debate and passionate discussion on many topics.

We soldiered together in UCG many years ago in the early 1970s.

So sorry to hear of Brother Lucian's passing. He was a great teacher to me and my classmates in St Josephs Galway ("the Bish") back in the 80's. He also became a good friend of my fathers. May he rest in peace

Very sorry to hear of Bro.Lucian's passing.
He was held in very high esteem by pupils,parents/guardians,teachers in Patrician College and in the wider Finglas Community.
As a former teacher in Patrician College I found him most approachable, courteous, generous--really a true gentleman and a much liked school principal with a very good sense of humour.
