Our childhood on the Reiska Road was brightened by Michael’s visits and his wonderful slides of Peru. He really was a great human being, totally dedicated to the poor. I learned, from someone who worked in Lima, that Michael’s work rate was incredible. Listening to him speak about his life a few years ago, it was so obvious that he had a deep love for the people he worked with and suffered with them in their sufferings. He was an unsung hero, who lived a simple life and always remained humble. He was dedicated to the service of others.
His life was a blessing to many.

Thinking of you all at this time may Michael rest in peace with his parents brothers and sisters .

The recent passing of several very well-regarded and much-loved Brothers leaves a gap at Maiville and in the wider Presentation family that won't be easily filled. They were all remarkable men who made a huge difference to people's lives both here in Ireland and, in the case of Brothers like Mike, in faraway lands. May they all rest in peace.
