Edmond, you are missed everyday. Keep thinking we’ll be meeting for a beer or dinner or cocktail someday soon. All I know is that you’re probably having all three up there as I write this. Your sendoff was beautiful. Glenstal were amazing. Only shame you couldn’t be there in-person. Take care, Rog, Ciara, Annie & Maggie
My sympathies to the McGrath Family and to the Glenstal Community on the loss of Timothy. He thought me English and French in the early 70s, and was a very good teacher, keeping the attention of the class throughout the lesson.

May he rest in peace.
Ray and I send sympathies to all family members. You are in our thoughts. Requiescat in pace.
so sorry to hear the passing of eddie (as i knew him) he was great friend to my dad and our family, particularly two years ago when my dad (ronnie) was sick. RIP
To the community and the family of Br Timothy, I offer my heartfelt sympathies and condolences on his passing. Unfortunately, I had not seen and spoken with him in several years. He was, however, a truly remarkable man who changed my life, immeasurably. I will be forever grateful for his warmth, humanity, sagacious insight(s), and his gentle directness. He was a great conversationalist with a fabulous sense of humour. I often regretted that he was never ordained to the priesthood, as I felt he would have been an extraordinary confessor. His memory is truly a blessing! Make he now enjoy the fullness of the Kingdom of Heaven.
My deepest condolences to Glenstal community and McGrath family. Let his soul rest in peace and shower the blessings upon us from heaven! Beloved Bro. Timothy will live forever in our beautiful memories that cherished with him.

On behalf of Sean,Terry, the residents and staff of St. Anthony’s nursing home,we would like to offer our sincere sympathies to the family and friends of our wonderful friend Tim. Tim came into our lives many years ago and went on to be a close friend of the Fennessy family as well as a mentor, advisor and advocate for residents and staff.Tim visited our home often, bringing with him his stories and accounts from his many trips abroad. He would spend the morning chatting to everyone, making us laugh or just listening to those who needed a friendly ear, before studying the dinner menu with delight and giving in his order. He attended residents meetings, answered any questions residents had and made it his business to visit us as much as he could outside of his life commitments. Tim always made us laugh,he had the most interesting stories from his travels and we loved to see him come dressed in the National attire of the country he had just visited.Tim accompanied us on trips out, celebrated all our big days with us and never turned down the opportunity to be amongst us even if only for a short time.Tim’s kindness, patience and positivity shone brightly from him, his big smile and hearty laugh will never be forgotten. We extend our condolences to Tim’s community at Glenstal Abbey where we know he lived happily and contently until he passed. His absence will be felt in our home but we will continue to remember him in our prayers always. This last journey Tim, will be your best one yet!
