As a young teacher in De La Salle between 1968-1972 was a very inclusive colleague and an excellent organiser, a guiding light in human relations. May Bro Tim rest in peace.
My most heartfelt condolences to the DLS community in Waterford on the passing of Br Tim. A wonderful colleague and friend. May he rest in peace.
Br Tadgh was a towering presence in the school but not in any dictatorial manner. His calming demeanor stood out and I can't recall him being unkind or harsh when there was probably good cause betimes. That so many , myself included, came back to visit was a testimony to his character. Lovely to witness his satisfaction when the school won first All Ireland hurling final. RIP

Sincere sympathy to the extended O'Shea family and the De La Salle community on the passing of Bro.Tim. He spent many hours/days transcribing lists of names & addresses of pupils from 1949-1968 to assist Daithi Nevins and I in efforts to establish a Past Pupils Fraternity-- and then he would ask what more can he do!! A dedicated and remarkable man.

Greatly saddened to hear of Brother Timothy's passing, I remember so clearly his arrival into our classroom in St. Declan's circa 1957 as it dawned on us that he had no wish to use the cane or leather to educate us. Whenever I met former classmates subsequently he was remembered with great affection and respect. We were lucky to have known 'Timmo' RIP. Condolences to the O'Shea family and the De La Salle community

I was very sorry to learn that Brother Timothy RIP had passed to his eternal reward. What a wonderful man - a mentor , educator and a friend. I was a boarder in the 70s and have only the fondest of memories of Brother Tim. I always enjoyed meeting him in latter years when you came away with a smile and perhaps a tad wiser. He was always enquiring of classmates and seemed to have an encyclopedic memory of who was in your era.
To the O’ Shea family and the De La Salle family the loss is great but his legacy is enduring and he has left his positive mark on all who were fortunate to meet and be guided by him and for many he was that difference maker. May he Rest In Peace

It is with great sadness that I have learned of Br. Timothy’s passing, an absolute gentleman. I have wonderful memories of my years spent in DLS (65 - 70) under Tim’s guidance.I thank him for giving me a love of mathematics that I carried into my teaching career. It was the lessons I learned from Tin and the other caring teachers in that great school that contributed to my teaching career in Maynooth.
