Condolences. He was a great teacher who taught me and I’ll always remember him as a person as a person with a great love for all languages. Very sorry to hear of his passing.

Mr De Róiste was my Irish teacher during my first year in Coláiste Chiarán. His passion for the Irish language and kindness with even those who struggled has stayed with me to this day, almost 18yrs later. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends, he will be sorely missed.

In our younger days Brendan & myself were best friends and indeed rivals as we roamed and explored the fields , trees , orchards and outhouses of All Hallows until his career decision took him away.
Those were the days my friend

sorry to hear about brendans passing, we met in lucan CBS, before he went on to fame and fortune in leixlip. called to him a few times in mayo during nice long hot summers. a gent, full of passion for all things irish, especially his gra for the language and music. thinking of his family at this sad time.
