Breda was one of the givers in life. I remember her coming into the Bridge after working in the chipper in Summerhill after work and she always had a bag of chips which she shared with my Dad and others. She used to clean our office in Ballybough and any day she was in was the day you got a cup of tea and a great chat. She was so proud and excited when Gerry and herself moved to their new apartment - a time when some of us could give back to her by moving her furniture across from Ballybough House. Of course it was no surprise that when we went for a pint afterwards we were told that Breda had left money for more than a few pints behind the bar! "Nice one Breda"
You will be missed by all of us who had the privilege to have known you Breda. My sincere condolences to Gerry and Breda’s family, the people she put first. I was lucky to have known such a wonderful person and call her a friend.
