Breda taught in De La Salle College Wicklow for 17 years. Served on Board of Management. A committed, hard working, caring teacher she got on with her many colleagues and students, a wise woman with a good sense of humour. A highly respected teacher, Breda always tried to see the bigger picture. I travelled around the world with her going between Bray and Wicklow over the years with Peter. Great company. A true lady. May Breda rest in peace.

The sad news of Breda's passing brought me right back to sitting in her geography class in De La Salle College, Wicklow, as well as her leading us on a field trip adventure through the glacial valley of Glendalough. Such wonderful memories of a dedicated teacher and a true lady, who will no doubt be greatly missed by her family and friends.

All the residents were deeply saddened on hearing of Breda's death. So many residents commented that she was lady, lovely to have a chat with and nice to the children. She was particularly remembered for her many years of hard work in the estate and on the residents association. May she rest in peace
