I am so sorry for the loss of your mom she was a beautiful lady and she will be missed. I remember her always waving over at me when I was out the backyard. As your father before her they were lovely people. They used always wave over to me and blow kisses at me, I will always remember them for the lovely people they were. Breda was a founder member of above club. She and her members put Mahon on the map. They won many awards Great nights were enjoyed at the “Over Sixties Song Contest”which she organised. She served on various committees especially for the elderly They travelled the length and breadth of Ireland on outings and holidays
A woman who was kind,dedicated,determined
who touched so many lives A woman of substance a woman before her time
Breda had great faith she loved her Church with a passion. She was involved with Holy Cross in service all her life
Her pride and joy were her beloved family She was blessed to have such a great and loving one and always said how lucky she was to have them - what a legacy.

The Holy Cross Parish Assembly extends its heartfelt sympathy to Breda's family and all who are saddened by her death. Breda was a founding member of the first Parish Assembly, and served on the " Welcome and Supporting Group", a role to which she was ideally suited, through her warmth and commitment to the Parish community. She will be very much missed here in Mahon. May she enjoy eternal rest with her beloved Donal.
