I am very overwhelmed with sadness over the loss of my mother.....although I haven't seen her in a few years I will always remember her in my heart.....and I will always love her...
My children mourn the loss of their grandmother......although they have never met my children know how special my mother was....

We were so sad to hear of Breda’s passing. Her cousins Helen Kiernan, Brigid McDonough and Margaret Vazirian send their sincere condolences and prayers for Mary and her family.
As a young person visiting from America, Breda was one of my favorite cousins. You could hear us singing on the road to Clough, hitchhiking our way into Granard, picking berries along the road, minding little ones, and attending the Harp Festival. Most importantly, Breda introduced me to the Granada dance hall and my world was forever changed. When I see Breda, it’s through the eyes of my 15/16 year old self, when I was so enamored by her spirit and zest for life! I am so blessed to have these memories from a lifetime ago. What a gift that, whenever I think of those days with Breda, they never fail to bring a warm smile to my face.

That is my mother who I haven’t seen since I was six. I was hoping for at least one chance to see her again, but now that chance will never come. Hearing about her death, I don’t know how to digest. But I would tell her that I still love her. This is her son Michael saying this.
