To Breda's family and to all who knew and loved her,
I'm so sorry for your incredible loss. I knew Breda through Nicki and when I heard she was living in NY during the pandemic, we set her up on friends date to meet my lovely friend Tara Drake. The rest is history!
After hearing so much about her, I was lucky enough to meet her in person last year and we had 2 lovely days eating Tacos, drinking Margaritas and walking in Central Park with her gorgeous Cillian. She lived up to all the expectations. So warm and beautiful inside and out.

I had the honor of meeting Breda during her time in New York through our mutual friend, Tara Drake. Breda was fantastically fun and wickedly smart. I am so grateful to have met her. Dear immediate and extended family of Breda, I was very upset to hear the sad news of Breda's passing. Breda was my first manager at IFS and I worked with her for many years. I learned many skills during this time. Her attention to detail and professionalism is something I have always aspired to. But aside from work she was a lovely, kind and caring person. I am so heartbroken that my lovely friend Breda is gone. We had the best four years of action packed fun in DIT together.
Our year travelling in Australia was such an exciting adventure and I’ll cherish those fun memories of us living together forever. We had many more trips, nights out and fun together over the years including many weekend breaks to Kilkenny, Malta and lots more.
Breda was a beautiful, kind friend who will be missed dearly.RIP xx

I am so incredibly devastated for your loss. I have so many fond memories of our families spending so much time together when we were younger.
cramped together in the boot of cars (legal back then) on our holidays around Wexford.
Breda's failed attempt at teaching Niamh and I how to do headstands. We were pretty useless, but she pushed on all the same.
Our adventures bashing down the nettles in the back field to go apple picking next to the stream.
Teaching us how to make perfume, and the many hours playing at the top of the stairs of your house.

May she rest in eternal peace, in the arms of her beloved Dad, forever together again....

Dear Andy, Cillian, Maureen, Des, Dave, Dec and Eoin. I am thinking of you in this extremely difficult and sad time.
It is impossible to put the loss of my friendship with Breda into words. From the time we met in Sydney, all those years ago, I knew we would get along, but I didn’t realise how important and deep that friendship would become. Breda was an amazing friend - loyal, kind, thoughtful and very, very funny. We spent so much of our friendship laughing and having fun. When Breda moved to New York I was so proud of her but sad that she would no longer be “just across the river”. There was some comfort in knowing one day Breda would come home, I just never imagined it would be this way. Breda had so much to live for and truly loved her life. I will be forever grateful that we got to spend time together this summer in your beautiful garden, celebrating and laughing. Breda, I will forever miss your voice, your laugh and your company, and I feel so blessed to have so many amazing memories of you.
