Paul, Dean, Michele and extended Victory family, we don't suppose to fully understand your sense of loss for both parents in such short succession however to a lesser extent we actually do. Your parents have both been part of the fabric of the Nursing Home for a number of years as have you all while visiting. There is definitely a sense of loss for the couple that they were, always present together, both individuals in their own right yet so intrinsically intertwined that 'Liam and Breda' or 'Breda and Liam' was just simply a statement of fact. No doubt it is very difficult for you all and you will miss them both desperately but take comfort in the knowledge that as in life and now in death they are at one. Your Mum knew she needed him and that he needed her, there could be no other conclusion and in truth there should be no other conclusion. So with a sense of sadness for the loss but an overriding sense of joy for them both we say, God speed Breda, it won't be long, he's waiting for you.
