So sad to hear of the passing of Breda. Such a lovely lady and was a great friend to my mother (Margaret Mccarthy). We continued with correspondence after mum passed away, and Breda always kept us updated on news from Blackrock Rd and in Bantry. On our visits back to Bantry, it was always lovely to see her and hear the news! With our last chat only in July. Sending our condolences to Breda's family. Xx

It is with a very sad heart that I extend my deepest sympathies to Patrick, Sean and Marie on the death of my dearest Cousin Breeda. Ever since our first trip to Ireland, we have shared letters, gifts, phone calls and love. My Mom and Breeda wrote to each other constantly and after passing, I kept up the family correspondence. We always felt so welcome and loved our visits. I have my favorite photo of Breeda from the calendar and she was holding flowers from the market. She was beautiful, kind and thoughtful. I will miss her letters but I know she is in heaven catching up on all the family news. God grant her peace and rest!

We have lovely memories of visiting Breeda in Rose Cottage where we always received a warm welcome. Breeda was a great friend of my late parents Mark and Ita Harrington as she worked with my father in Warners. Every Christmas we received a Christmas card and a long letter full of news from Breeda. My daughters learnt a lot about their Whiddy Island relations from Breeda. She was also very talented at knitting and crochet and I will treasure the lovely blankets she made for my daughters. Breeda was a very kind and thoughtful lady and may her gentle soul rest in peace after a life well lived.
