My deepest sympathy to you all on Breeges passing. I worked as PA to Breege for a year in the Central Bank and she was nothing but kind and engaging to me from the first day. We had some great laughs and chats over coffee and our love of travel. I met her in Beaumont last year and we acknowledged the paths both our lives were taking..she was as gracious and courteous as always and we had planned to meet again in better times. A nicer woman you could not meet. May she travel far and wide where she may be. RIP

Though I didn’t know her long she made a deep impression on me and I always found her so warm and engaging and fun whenever I bumped into her down in Charleville. I could sense immediately how cherished and popular a member she was both from my own interactions with her and every kind word I heard about her from others. Dear Jerry, we are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved Breege. Thinking of you and all the family at this very difficult time.

We're absolutely heartbroken to hear the sad news of Breege's passing and we send all our love to Jerry and the Timoney-Moriarty family.

Breege was a dear friend and an extremely valuable member of Charleville LTC who took on many roles over the years - from club captain to committee member and, most recently and notably, club president. She incarnated the very spirit of our little club - she joyously showed up at all events, whether social or not, and fiercely competed in both league and open tournaments, proudly flying the Charleville flag and lifting trophies in all categories around many Dublin clubs. She was truly a great advocate of Charleville.

Breege was such a cheerful presence, always ready to light up the room with her funny stories and her bright laughter, and she was always happy to lend out a hand to other members.

We will miss Breege dearly, but we will also cherish her lovely smile as well as all the chats and laughs we shared throughout the years.

Jerry, I am so heartbroken for you. From the minute you and Bríd sneaked off to Clones, ye were the perfect and inseparable couple. The love you had was the strongest I have ever seen. I will never forget going to your house in Drumcondra for the big fry-up before the big match and how close you both were on the day cooking the breakfast together. I will never forget ye coming to Cruit Island for my 21st. Or the times in Cheltenham when they used to close the pubs between 2 and 6 (it could have been longer) and would give you about 6 seconds drinking up time. I think it was Dunhill that Brid used to smoke.... So many many wonderful nights in Blacks!!! May Brid rest in eternal peace and shine brightly forever, as she always did on earth. Jerry, you and Brid travelled the world and saw so so much, she deserved to see so much more. I was out for a walk today, before I heard the news, and this elderly couple stopped me and the man started chatting to me in Irish. You will not believe this, but he was from Crossmolina. He asked me where I was from, I told him "Donegal originally" and he said "we are not friends" It's true that Donegal and Mayo do not get on on the football pitch, but Brid was one of the most beautiful gifts that Mayo could have given and her passion for her county was second to none. Brid, you have this now in your heavenly bed, Mayo will win that long awaited All-Ireland, I just wish you didn't have to depart to make it happen. 💔💔

Breege was an exceptional person who will be fondly remembered by all who knew her throughout a life that ended far too early. Her commitment and contributiion to Charleville Tennis Club were immense and the club thrived under her warm and talented leadership as President.
