We would like to express our sincere sympathy to Colclough ,Colclough jun Liz,Miriam,Claire,and Ide Gerry,Mike,Nessa,and all of Brendas beautiful grand children ,Kay,Margaret and her extended Family and close friends on the sad passing of Brenda.
Brenda thought me and my siblings in Redcross school she was a good and dedicated teacher,our paths crossed again when she went on to teach in Brittas Bay where my own children went to school .Then i had the privilege of getting to know her on a personal basis as her carer .Brenda and Colclough and their beautiful girls welcomed me into her home she would not let me out of her house without having a cup of tea and a slice of her home made brown bread or something her girls had made be it carrot cake or scones or even dinner She was constantly telling me to sit down and have a chat .Brenda was a very loving caring lady very easy going and always interested in how others were doing She was always full of gratitude for the help she received during her illness never ever complained. Brenda was surrounded by so much love and care by her girls they looked after her so wel and she was so proud of them all ..Brendas presence will be missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
