To my darling sister in law,

Bren's, I will never forget our first introduction. It was at the roller skating rink in Vereeniging, where Derek proudly introduced his sassy and beautiful girlfriend to his 7 year old 'baby sister'. I was immediately 'smitten' (as was my brother).
How I admired your artistic talent, your delicate orchid paintings and your gorgeous long hair. You were always so engaging and present, you made me feel like the most important person in the world.

I will always remember us watching the movie, Xanadu together. You wrote down the words to the song for me in your impeccable handwriting. Your warmth, your wit and your passion was captivating and made every person in a room gravitate towards you.

Thank you for loving my brother and for always seeing his brilliance and talent. For raising the most independent, incredible Dobs and for your unwavering devotion to them both.

We are 'cheersing' you and are sure that both you and Grandad have a Guinness in hand along with your usual, playful banter. God how I wish we could share those times all over again.

No more pain and no more suffering, thank you for your love, and for the most beautiful memories.

It with a heavy sad heart to say goodbye to a aunt who was always there for us.

When holiday and Christmas time came we all knew that it was time to go to aunt Brenda house for a nice relaxing swim. Teaching us to bake and do our nails and just being aunt Brenda.
