I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of my best school friend from 1967 to 1972. I have many happy memories of our time together in Carrick on Shannon and in 64 St Patricks Park. Brenda had a lovely, welcoming family. My thoughts are with all of her family and friends.

Sending my sincere condolences to Bernie and all of Brenda's family at this most difficult time. I had the privilege of working alongside Brenda for many years and she was truly one of the most honest, hardworking, and genuinely funny people I’ve known.

We shared many moments together—some challenging, others full of laughter—and through it all, Brenda brought a rare strength and lightness that made the tough days easier and the good days even better. Her spirit, warmth, and sense of humour left a lasting mark on those of us lucky enough to work with her.

Growing up in St. Patrick's Park 'the Square' was where we congregated to spend the long summer evenings out playing 'till late and Brenda was very much part of that. She grew up to be a beautiful and refined woman and enjoyed the many visits back home. May both families be comforted at this sad time with the memory of her good life.
