It is so hard to lose a loved family member but when it is someone like Brenda who is full of enthusiasm for life, young, vibrant and more...it seems so unfair.

It was good to meet many of you, the family, at the service on Friday and to feel the strong family bond that you have. What a great service it was.

Nonetheless, you now have to face the loss and stick together to support each other, and Wadih in particular - and I'm sure you will do. I have spent the time since the funeral feeling Brenda in my life and thinking of you all.

It was with great sadness and shock that we learnt of the passing of dear Brenda. We have known her since I joined the Bank in Dublin in the late 70's.and she was also at our wedding.
Losing someone who was both a life partner and a cherished friend leaves a space that no words can truly fill. Her warmth, kindness, and presence touched many, and we know she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
We will cherish all those wonderful times we had in Dublin and London.
Our thoughts are with you and all the family in this time of profound grief. May you all find peace in the memories you shared and strength in the support of those who care for you.

My heart goes out to all the family for the loss of our lovely Brenda, she always spoke very fondly of you all. I worked with Brenda for 7 years at Sigma Partnership and have known her for the last 18 years, she was one of a kind. Brenda was a lovely boss and fun to work with. I will never forget the lovely times we had together, drinking nettle tea to keep healthy; Brenda on many occasions would pick fresh nettle on her way into work and we would enjoy a cuppa in the morning; I remember our 5k city run and how we trained before the run and how much fun it was! She was very competitive in anything and everything 😊. I will never forget all the great memories we shared together as a Sigma Family. She will be greatly missed for her wisdom and wit. She was a strong woman who was highly determined and driven by a strong sense of purpose. I will never forget the wonderful memories we had together. May the memories of Brenda bring you comfort during this difficult time. Please know that I'm thinking of you and sending lots of love to the family.

I have known Brenda for over 15 years as a client. Although I never met her in person, I always enjoyed our conversations. She was a wonderful, warm human being with a gentle way of putting others at ease. I am deeply saddened by her passing and wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to Wadih and all of Brenda’s family. I met Brenda about two years ago and learned about her battle with cancer. As my father was also fighting cancer, following her recovery was very meaningful to me. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to Wadih and the entire family.

I have known Brenda for over 30 years and was so sorry to hear she had died. I am thankful I saw her a few weeks before she passed away.
Although it is many years since she left the Bank, I have stayed in touch with her and Wadih , through and with her great friend Evelyn.
Brenda was always a very strong and gracious friend and dealt with her illness with great courage and grace. I so admired her for this.
Hard to believe I will not see her again. Colin and I , together with Evelyn will make sure we continue to see Wadih. Our sincere condolences go to Elizabeth and Jamie and all the family and we hope to celebrate Brendas life on 6th June.

Dear Liz,
Brenda was such a lovely, smart and no nonsense lady. I remember we once went on holiday to Ibiza and it rained for the duration but despite it we had such fun.
