Brenda was one of "the girls" as my Mum Mairéad (née O'Connor) called them - a group of lifelong friends who were present at each others' weddings and other life events. Brenda was the most glamorous of a very glamorous lot! In fact she was at my own wedding, 30 years ago. She looked fantastic to the end, as shown in the photos taken after Fionnuala's funeral not long ago (another one of 'the girls'). Sad to see this wonderful group of women diminishing. My sympathies to Carolyn and all the family.
Lovely lady, may she rest in peace.
