Brenda was always a pleasure to meet, chiefly with you both on her many trips to Derrynane which she loved so much. May she enjoy Everlasting Peace.

I was very sad to hear of Brenda’s recent death. My sincere condolences to her family and many friends. I knew Brenda when she worked at UCD. She so lovely with everyone – staff and students – and always very stylish. She will be greatly missed.

I reacquainted with her in February in Porto, I originally knew her in the main office in UCD, it was a very joyful get together for a couple of days. I was meant to meet her for lunch in Galway but sadly it wasn’t to happen!
