Brenda was a wonderful colleague and part of a brilliant crew at Rutland NS that worked hard and had fun together.
Brenda was a kind teacher, I enjoyed the chats and recall exchanging the newspaper with her in the staffroom; she was tremendous company on staff evenings out.

I offer my Sincere Sympathy to Brenda's children and extended family on your very sad loss. I first met Brenda on a trip to South America in 2015 and we kept in touch, meeting for long chats and lunches in the Dropping Well, where she always managed to book a table by the river. She was always so enthusiastic and full of life. She would fill me in on her adventures and what she was planning next. She was great company, extremely knowledgeable, witty and thoughful. I will miss her greatly. Unfortunately, I am abroad at the moment, so will miss her funeral, but you will all be in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. May Brenda's gentle soul Rest in Peace.
