Brendan was one of a kind. He had a very laid back sense of humor. I asked him one day who owned the new Bentley in the car park and without batting an eye he said “ I only took delivery of it yesterday”. Lord have mercy on you Brendan.

It still feels like a dream that you are not here anymore. The thought of not being able to see you or hear your voice breaks my heart into a million pieces. You are the strongest, bravest, most courageous person I have ever known. The fight you put up over the last 3 months is a testament to just how strong you are, defying all odds that were thrown at you. I still remember you telling me the lawnmower was broken just so I wouldnt go out and cut the grass when you were in Hospital because you wanted to do it yourself and thought I would make a mess of it ( not sure how it's even possible to make a mess of cutting the grass ). I definitely know were I got my sence of humour and stubbornness from anyway.

Dad I'm going to miss you so much, i will miss you telling me to drive carefully every morning before work, not to drink too much on Holidays, seeing you every evening sitting in your favourite chair waiting to ask me about my day and work and countlessy listen to my rants . I dont know just how myself and Mam will get through this without you Dad but I know you will help us along the way and I will try my best to continue to make you proud.
