Deepest condolences to all the Boland family at this heartbreaking time. Brendan was taken away far too soon, but no doubt that he is watching over each and everyone of you everyday.

Deepest condolences to Brendan's family- Clare, Donncha, Aoife, his parents, Noel and Liz, his sister, Áine and extended family. I was deeply shocked to hear of Brendan's passing. I knew him from my time working in Marino and from the subbing he had done for us in the school. While he was in Marino, he was a lovely person, liked and respected by his classmates and staff alike. When he came to work with us in the school, I found he hadn't changed a bit- kind, helpful, really nice to the children. I can't imagine the heartbreak that all his family are going through- I've no doubt that he was a wonderful father and husband. I'm sorry I was away last week and couldn't attend Brendan's funeral but my thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. Pat Cunnane, Behy National School.

Shocked and saddened at the news of Brendan’s passing. I was lucky to go to college with such a kind soul. Being a proud Mayo man, he loved the days they got the better of Dublin and the opportunity to remind me of it the following day. His laughter and good nature will be remembered fondly.
