Brendan Boyle

Condolences to you Mary and to Kieran, Brian, Dermot Bridgeen and all the extended Boyle family on the very sad and very untimely passing of Brendan. Some of you I have met along the way others I haven't, but Brendan always spoke very fondly of you all. It almost seems unimaginable that a man who was so unique, hard working, kind, helpful, humurous and larger than life is no longer with us, but I think you can take comfort in the knowledge that his pain and suffering is over.
I have many fond and funny memories of Brendan both as a former workmate and housemate in Mountbellew. I know he would be deeply honoured and deeply humbled at all the lovely tributes that have been paid to him both at his lovely funeral mass and on this website.
Our loss is heaven's gain, may he rest in peace.

To say I’m heartbroken at the loss of Brendan is an understatement. He was an absolute true gentleman, and loved his role in the community. The stories I could tell throughout the time and years I spent on his buses, are very telling of how much of a gentleman he really was.

Deepest Condolences to all the Boyle Family and Seamus on the tragic passing of Brendan I was very saddened on hearing the news that Brendan had passed, Brendan was a true gentleman I got to know Brendan back in September 2002 when I started my course in the Agricultural College In Mountbellew, I would be on the bus with Brendan every Friday Afternoon and Sunday Night to and from Ballinasloe when I would be coming and going from The college at the weekends May Brendan Rest In Peace with his loved ones gone before him

Such a shock to hear the passing of brendan.. such a character. Manys the night he called into my mam and dad up here in clonard .. once u had tae and biscuits he was happy.. he even called with the bus one sunday evening with 4 french students on board .. nicer chap u would not meet.. rest easy wizard.. I'm shocked to hear of Brendan's passing, he really was a true gentleman, have many good memories of spinning around Dundalk years ago and then back to his home for tea, he loved his biscuits bk then and would be insulted if he was given a cuppa without a biscuit.
