Sincere condolences to Brendans family on his passing.
I had manys the fabulous chat and laugh with Brendan in Beneavin. We chatted about the 'good old days' he told lots of stories about his youth, playing football and great neighbours. All our conversations had music as their centrepiece, especially Phil Lynnott, The Boomtown Rats and The Bay City Rollers and we played some of his favourites during treatments. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren and loved seeing you all. Every time I was with him he spoke of his Ma and Da and kept his Ma's beads close to his heart. It will be some consolation now to you his family that he is reunited with them and with his sister. Keeping Brendan and you all in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
