I'm very sorry to hear about Bren passing. I knew him from the 17th Dalkey scouts back in the day. I have many happy memories of sing-songs in Bren's house in Patrick's Square, as well as all the camps and hikes. He was a smashing guy and I offer my condolences to all his family.

There will be more scout troops in Heaven than ever before and angels worried about clouds being set alight by campfires but there will be great stories and fun.Memories of Brendan's renditions of The Quartermaster's Store from parties in St Patrick's Terrace have been very strong this week. It was great you were all able to come to Kent in 2019 and I had a great chat with Brendan. So sorry for your loss try and think of all the notes being left in Heaven saying I'm off exploring with the free travel pass.
