Since condolences to Brendan and the Brogan family on the sad passing of Brendan senior. He was my Sgt for a brief period on my arrival at Harcourt Terrace. He was kind helpful and very understanding to new recruits arriving at the station. He was a real proud member of An Garda Siochana and always lead by example. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.

Our brother Patrick Gallagher served as a young Garda under Brendans guidance in Harcourt Terrace until his untimely death in 1981.
At that time and for years subsequently Brendan was a great source of comfort and support to our family.
Brendan called to our home many times and often visited Patricks grave.
We remember Brendan with great affection.He was an absolute gentleman.May Brendan rest in Peace.
