I had the pleasure of being in regular contact with Brendan during during his time with Sligo Co Council and I remember with fondness our many discussions about the political situation on our island. May the sod of his adopted Sligo rest easy on him. RIP.

We are so saddened to hear the very sad passing of Brendan who was a real gentleman, a professional at his work, always approachable and on hand to help one in need. We have known him for the last 23 years and he loved and settled into this part of north Sligo.
