I grew up two doors away from Brendan and we spent our formative years doing all the stuff you do and surviving our little escapades. Upon leaving school we went our different ways. Fifty years later (2014) we got together ( class of 64) in Hunters Hotel to relive the intervening years, and a great night was had by all.
I didnt expect him to leave us so soon.
Once more our sincere sympathy on the passing of Brendan. He was a lovely man.

I’ve known Brendan for 47 years since I first joined the Norwich Union , At that time Brendan was an inspector located in ATHLONE,
He gave me the start in the business and we became the best of friends as did my Wife Anne become best friends with Jean ,
Brendan and Jean reared eight marvellous children who are a credit to their parents ,
Brendan worked hard to provide for his wife and family ,

He was most happy when he was in the company of Jean and 4 or 5 of his children climbing on top of him ,
It proves that ,It’s not where you are or what YOU do it’s who your with and who’s with YOU —
Brendan was always advising his children on the proper way to live their lives even to who they should Marry , he could only be proud of the way they all turned out .

I have had the pleasure of working with Brendan and socialising with him he was a good man to drink a pint and was an expert on everything when you got into a deep Conversation,,

He will be missed by his family and all those have known him over the years , ( I will Miss Him)
