Uncle Brendan was a kind, gentle soul. I fondly remember when he would come up to Mam's house on St. Stephen's Day, and together the family would read poetry. The kitchen was filled with the most warm energy then. Truly some of the happiest memories of my childhood. Always such a calming and joyful man to be around. We'll read some poetry this Christmas period in memory of you.

Rest in peace Brendan, from your nephew James.

Susan, Noel, Tracy and Benny,

I’m so sorry to hear about Brendan’s passing. I have a lot of great memories growing up with you all and being best friends with Martin. From Brendan chasing us all around the playground in Marley Park, to “camping out” in your back garden with the chickens! Brendan always had time for kids and frequently brought us all out for the day, the man really was a saint.
So sad to hear of Brendans passing. Such a beautiful and tallented person. Theres not many people that can recite the Irish Proclamation perfectly without looking at the words. But Brendan could no bother.Such an intellegent man. Rest in peace Brendan.
