I am so very sorry to hear this news. Brendan was a great leader at Ciba in a difficult time and a kind soul at all times. Heartfelt prayers and condolences for his family. He will be missed by many of us who also loved Ciba!

He was such a nice man and always great fun. I remember the excitement 40+ years ago when he stayed at our house in Dublin when he was doing his final accountancy exams - we felt so honoured. He will be sorely missed.

I called him after he left the Board to seek out his guidance which he eagerly provided. Although I did not know Brendan a very long time, he made a big impact on me personally. I am deeply saddened to learn of the death of Brendan and I extend my condolences to his wife Joan , his stepsons, his siblings and the extended family on their loss .
It was my pleasure and privilege to meet and collaborate with Brendan on a number of enterprises since his return to Ireland and especially in the promotion of the Viking Triangle in Waterford City .
He was a man of outstanding ability and absolute integrity and most enjoyable company over a cup of coffee .

Very sad to hear the news of Brendan’s passing. He met me at his old family home in rockenham last year after I bought it , with a warm welcome and a nice bunch of flowers. I subsequently found an old photo of the Cummins family as children and keep it on the fridge.
