On behalf of the golfers of Castlewarden Golf Club, we extend our sincere condolences to the Foran family, especially Brendan’s wife Brigid, and to his loving children Karin and Shane.

Brendan was deeply respected and much loved for the enormous contribution he made in helping to establish Castlewarden Golf Club as the splendid facility it is today. As a founding member of the club’s inaugural committee, he played a vital role in its early development and growth. Above all, Brendan was a true gentleman.

While he loved his golf, Brendan was also active in many other aspects of club life, particularly in helping organise the Christmas celebrations for members’ families, which brought great joy to the club community.

He will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

May he rest in peace.
