Brendan Gasparro

I was deeply saddened to hear of Brendan’s passing. We were good friends many years ago, and I have fond memories of the good times we shared. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace.

Ah, Bren. So sorry to have only now heard of your passing. The book was called ‘The THREE Musketeers’ but surely Dartagnon made it four? That’s how I will always remember you, one of our weekend foursome, jammed into my little Fiat 128 with me, Moloney and Pat Peters on our way to The Baggot Inn for Stepaside on a Friday night or down to Peekers on a Saturday night or into town every Monday night for a movie. It was with deep sadness that I heard about the death of Bren, as I had always known him. It must be 40 years since we last met and we had many good times with our football rivalry, pints shared and many a trip into Ballsbridge to hear some good music. My condolences to all in his family.

Our condolences to Brens’ brothers and sister on their loss. Fond memorable times spent with Bren during the sixties and seventies in ‘the cove’, ‘poker on the baths roof’ ‘the bushes’ and Walter’s back room among others. Rest in Peace old pal….. apologies for not being able or attend his funeral service…..
