My condolance Mary and family on the death of Brendan. You and Brendan were wonderful neighbours to our family when you lived on Fr Griffin Road before you emigrated. I have always remembered your kindness to my mother and have spoken to Brendan's sister Ann about my high regard for you both. It was delightful to read that you had a long life together and raised your family.
Suaimhneas síoraí na bhFlaitheas ort, Brendan.

Mary, sad to hear of Brendans death, you and he were great hosts to a group of Golfers from Galway Bay and Galway in the mid 90’s. Brendan even managed to get us tickets to the Masters final practice day in Agusta, wonderful memories, many thanks. May he rest in peace.
I grew up next door to the Hayes family. Bob and Josephine were extremely kind to us and we were invited to go next door and sit with Bob to watch TV as we didn't have one back then. We heard about all their family and Brendan's visits home were a great source of excitement for them and all the neighbours. I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you all on his passing. May he rest in peace.
