I was saddened to hear of Brendan' passing. I worked with him for many years on different contracts and always looked forward to and enjoyed our time together. My condolences to all the family.

Deepest condolences to Theresa,Paul,Helen and extended family on the sad passing of your beloved Brendan. His energy,knowledge, resilience and reliability will be missed by all who knew him throughout her long life. To live in the minds of those we leave behind is not to die.
He leaves a great legacy and will not be forgotten.

Brendan was a really good friend of mine and in the great years that I spent working along side Brendan in G&T Cramptons he played a huge part in moulding me into the man I became he will be greatly missed, my sincerest sympathy to the Hempenstall family.

I never met Brendan, but he wrote many times to my sister Catherine who sent through his letters to her siblings.
I was allways struck by Brendan's gentleness and wry humour.
Even though his was a long life well lived, undoubtedly there is now pain in your hearts.
