I was greatly saddened to hear of Brendan’s passing yesterday. I had the great pleasure of working with Brendan during my involvement in the Dun Laoghaire Chamber in the early 2000’s. Brendan was an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to work with. He had a great sense of humour , was always in good spirits and brightened up a room with his presence. He was a lovely man and will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
May Brendan rest in peace.

Brendan was a lovely neighbour, the kindest man you could ever meet. He was so welcoming when we first moved to live across the road. He always had a smile on his face. He was so generous regularly bringing us apples from his tree in the garden and collecting acorns to give to the kids or a poem for us. He always had a story to tell about his tennis days or growing up in Dalkey. Our deepest sympathy to Terry and the family.
