Worked with Brendan in Haiti and PNG - reading the comments, it is no surprise that the one recurring description of Brendan is "gentleman" - he was an absolute gentleman to his fingertips, always having a kind word for everyone, always calm and collected, always in good humour with an infectious smile. On behalf of my wife, Geraldine, and myself, I wish to offer my sincere condolences on the passing of Brendan Hunt. I only learned of Brendan’s passing today and was truly shocked and saddened to receive this news.

Like Brendan, I worked for Digicel. We started working for Digicel at about the same time in 2013 and we are of similar age. I was based in Jamaica, but we worked together during my several visits to Haiti, during my two trips to Singapore and during the time that Brendan worked in Jamaica. I always had the very highest respect and regard for Brendan. He was a true gentleman and a consummate professional. I always enjoyed working with Brendan and enjoyed his company in social situations too. In short, Brendan was a great guy. One of the very best.

I never got the chance to properly thank you for your friendship, your guidance and all the good things you taught me.
