I only learned yesterday March 3 of the sad passing of Brendan.. My sincere condolences to his family. I have very fond memories of Brendan and greatly appreciate the help he gave me over the years in areas such as image analysis of tracks in nuclear detectors. He personified the gentleman engineering scientist. Ever curious ever helpful . May he rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to Brendan's family. He worked with us in UCD on several projects over the years, most notably the INTEGRAL satellite. It was Brendan who suggested Boyden observatory as the location for the Watcher telescope (where it is still operating). He was always full of good ideas and he is a loss to the Irish space community. RIP Brendan.

It is with great sadness I hear that Brendan will not be attending Mass at 11am in the Pro Cathedral again in person, he will be so missed, his service and loyalty to the Cathedral has been an example to us all particularly in the last year or so. I pray for him and his family. May he now be enjoying his eternal reward
