Really sad to hear of Brendan's passing.
I only met him a few weeks back and he was on top of the world as ever. Some years back, knowing his love of music, I asked him to a concert my Choir was performing in the Hugh Lane Gallery. I will always remember him coming up to where the Choir was performing asking where his spot was and did I have the music for him! I have learned a lot from him over the years and am the better person for knowing a true gentleman with a great practical approach to life.
Thinking of Simone,Odette and Joseph and your Mum Margaret at this really hard time.

We are shocked to hear of Brendan's sudden passing and offer our deepest condolences to the Kelly family. We got to know Brendan only in recent years due to our common interest in Red Setters. He was an absolute gentleman and a fount of knowledge and advice for us on dog rearing. Even though we didn't know Brendan very long, he was a very good friend and we will miss him greatly. May he rest in peace.

Sending bundles of love from New Zealand to Simone and her family during this challenging time. I was privileged enough to have meet Brendan whilst he was visiting Guernsey some years ago. Amongst many things, he taught me what a true "Irish Goodbye" was, for this he will be fondly remembered forever.
