He hadn't changed a bit, still full of smiles, fun and a great handshake. Brendan will be sadly missed - may he rest in peace

Our paths crossed many times over the years in the insurance industry and golf and even though I was the opposition Brendan would greet you like a long lost friend. He was great company and he will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Gone but never forgotten.

I'm so very sad to hear of the passing of Brendan. I only met him a couple of times, but he touched my heart as he did everyone he met. I have such fond memories of him taking me and my mum around every pub in Ballinteer and nearly missing our flight home. What a great man. I'm so sorry for your loss Niamh and all of your family.
